The transmission of the song "Grandola, Vila Morena" by a broadcaster of Lisbon, was the password to the outbreak political events of April in Portugal (from an interview of Captain Salgueiro Maia to Headline Review)

The production of this album that brings together the best work of the Portuguese composer José Afonso falls in line with what we set launch of our label: music promotion author of unusual quality disk and document the musical manifestations of the people. The compositions of Joseph Alphonsus, the clear inspiration in their design folk literary and musical - as indeed the work of the best composers Portuguese, and hope that the celebrations were the liberation of the Portuguese people.
In the spirit of the observer, far or near, the events in Portugal, must surely have been the image of a musical revolution and flowery. So that all revolutions are, and that spies disguised as organdy dresses, and the bullets are tied at the end of a string, for greater economy of battles, and there soft chestnut sellers to 'port of all wars, "as proposed by Raul Solnado, the largest manufacturer of laughter that she had spoken in Portuguese.
The harpsichord and the song by José Afonso "Grandola, Vila Morena" are the best symbols of the joy of the Portuguese people.
Both are here. If the stud has no perfume, the song makes it sometimes, because it contains the scent of intelligence, sensitivity and human kindness. Eça de Queiroz, back at home finally bringing together the genius of all time, must be talking, perhaps with Antero, Ramalho or maybe even made peace with Camilo: "Now how about that! Portugal joined me to taste, setting off the revolution taking one song as your password! "The song" Grandola, Vila Morena "was the password of the Revolution, and the soldiers responded with no shots, but singing in chorus.
With the release of "Fado Brazilian" and "Portugal Now" we will not surrender an homage, as some chroniclers say, the present-day Portugal and the Portuguese culture ever. With these discs, we leave to our Portuguese brothers to allow us to sing together. People who sing together, remain united.
